It's very hard being strong for two. I'm having to do that now (not the exact same situation, but I think I understand the feeling). I'd say you should give yourself the benefit of the doubt, that how you're feeling is just how it is, but at the same time, don't act on it until her situation is less temporary and recovered to the point where you can really feel like its the real her that you're talking with.
