A Big Hell Yeah
It finally happened!
Mom heard Kate speak today!
This evening Kate said "Yeah" loud and clear twice in response to being cold. I thought I heard "Is Dad over there?" but when I asked Dave to come closer, Kate said "Nope" as if that wasn't what she meant. Then she spoke a 10 or 12 word sentence, but I couldn't make it out. Three minutes after I left the room, Kate said "Where are we going?" !!!!!!!
We have planned an event for Kate on Sunday. Nephew Ben is bringing her cat Snowball to the hospital for a visit. I am anxious...I think it will elicit a response from Kate. She listened intently and smiled when I told her about it. I can't wait!
