Today's "Obscure Movie Quote" is as follows:

"Hey, I got a social disease!"

Remember no cheating, what fun is that?

**update** heinous_anus nailed it, first shot out of the box.

So, after about a week, I got my shit together and constructed a profile for the dating sites I'm joining. I submitted it for review to my three closest female friends:

Peggy

Samling

and my friend Sam (whom I really have to get a guest membership for so that she can yell at me for posting this pic of her all the timetongue)

I think I put together a nice little profile describing me and the type of woman I'm looking for. Once I wrote the first three words, the rest of it just flowed like water.

No I'm not gonna post it on here. Partly because I'm afraid of Jinxing myself (wink to er). And partly because I think it kinda cheapens it by flashing it around all over the place. (That's also the reason there haven't been any BCB sets from me in a while, but that's a story for a different time.) I mean it's one thing to post it on a site with the express purpose of courting, but to just put everything I put in there out for the general public makes it seem less special. Aside from the three ladies above (a veritable triple goddess of geekitude and coolness if there ever was one), no one who isn't interested in dating me needs to know that much about me.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. It's honestly helping me cope with the week so far.

I hope the dating market is good to you. There's gotta be somebody out there who relates to geeks like us on some level right?

Not sure if you have seen THIS, but when I saw it just now on SciFi's site I immediately thought of you.
