Secret Wars is still better than most side series though, it's much better than something like the Infinity War series, and yea it was mainly because of Doom and his schemes. He always has the best dialogue in comics since he's recording his whole life, and he backs his shit up better than any other evil doer. The only thing I didn't like about it was how they just kinda left Galactus in limbo, like when Doom steals his energy that's it, the last they really mention him is when he's eating his planet to get enough energy to eat the beyonder's planet and when Doom takes him out they don't ever say what happens to him.
