ahhhhhh....holiday drama is the worst. while i don't know the details or the extent, i too have a mother who "suffers" and loves to suffer and loves to remind ME how she's suffered.
and she has done a lot ... but ya know, i don't know what i'm supposed to do about that.
things are better now that i'm older, out of the house .. but i know how those exchanges can go. you say something w/o thinking, she takes it wrong, you get defensive, she holds a grudge - the whole damn day is shot.
but these things blow over ... we're just flawed folks, all of us. little battles do not make us care about each other any less. hope all is well.
and she has done a lot ... but ya know, i don't know what i'm supposed to do about that.
