There's something that's really bothering me. Two of my best friends are a couple and they are both very important to me. The girl recently moved out of their flat because the guy told her that he couldnt afford it, but since she's been gone he's been having wild cocaine binges with his exes and other slutty girls. And then when she looks at his phone and asks him who he called at 2 in the morning he gets incredibly aggressive about it, saying she's too clingy.
So now she's asking me if I know the numbers and I do, but I just cant tell her. If I tell her whats going on she'll move back home and I'll never see her again and the guy also won't talk to me again. It sounds selfish of me perhaps. But I am freaking out, I cant see my friend getting lied to like this, but the guy has been a really good friend for much longer and he never used to be anything like this. And one of his midnight call girls are also one of my other best friends...
What would you do?
I feel so sad.

The guy's acting like a total jerk and needs to be called on it--I agree with Raynne's advice (see above). God, that SUCKS being in the middle! Good luck.

You could tell your friend that she should trust her instincts....she's asking because she already doubts & she should trust that if it doesn't feel right it, isn't. That's really all you need to say, and it will allow them to play this out on their own without involving you.
