School was incredible yet again today! We diced and julienned carrots, onions, celery and potatoes; my julienne strips ended up becoming the standard for the class' comparisons!

Hopefully I get work-study next week... it's all cleaning and pantry work, but I'd rather be doing that than retail for sure.

Off to take a nap. *yawn*

Last night's party had everything a party should... there was nudity, dancing, 80's music, drunken half-assed arguments about nothing, getting the cops called (for the first time, I might add... that was kinda unexpected with how loud we typically are on weekday nights around here), and topped it all off this morning with bloody marys and a biscuits & gravy breakfast.

Good news!!! Everyone I know in the NOLA and other affected areas are okay.. I finally heard from the last of them today, and I was so relieved I almost cried.

I might be able to get work-study next week, but still need a regular job... anyone know of places near uptown that are hiring?

He bought it; we got some free shots from a bartender as well, and the next thing I know I'm telling him that I've wanted him for a while but didn't think I was his type. Turns out I am.

And he lives right next door. How convenient.

The show last night was hilarious... Dieode was great, they're playing same place/time tonight. It was mostly small kids skating, but damn were some of them gutsy! They'd just fly through the air like they'd bounce if they hit ground!

So yeah... same bat time, same bat channel.
