I had a weird nightmare last night. I dreamed i was at some sort of SG party. A lot of people were there, i'm not going to name them all. Everyone's voices sounded weird and completely different than i had imagined (this happens to me in real life a lot too). I got really drunkenly stupid and everyone was sick of being around me.......then somehow the dream transitioned to me hanging out with my old friend from highschool and her boyfriend, who both were really sad and bad off and had turned into heroin junkies. Bah. all of it was rediculous and depressing at the same time......
Curiosity......why are you on SG? Not just the prerequisite "there are hot girls on here" and stuff. Do you have any secret or special reasons? Like "my boyfriend and i like to look together" "I use the girls as models for my life drawings" "I really like the journal set up" "I am lonely and i was hoping to meet people/a special person through here" ..........so what is it, do you have any other reasons? Fess up.

2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/3 c. soy/rice milk
2 egg replacers or one whole mashed banana
Vegetable oil
Sifted powdered sugar (optional)
Combine first 4 ingredients in a bowl, beating until smooth. Heat 1/4 inch oil to 375 degrees in a skillet. Cover bottom opening of a funnel with finger. (Funnel with a 3/8 inch opening works best.) Pour 1/4 cup batter into funnel. Hold funnel over skillet. Remove finger from funnel end to release batter into hot oil; remove funnel in a slow, circular motion to form a spiral.
Fry each funnel cake one minute or until edges are golden brown. Turn and fry until golden. Drain on paper towels. Repeat with remaining batter. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. Serve warm. Yield about 1 dozen 5 inch cakes. You can also add a dash of cinnamon or drizzle them with your favorite syrup.
