S hated Sin City. he's the average male.
he often tells me, "Sometimes i dont get you," meaning i just did or said something that goes against whatever he was thinking or doing.
this was the first time i "didnt get" sammy. i can always see why he would like what he likes.
he listens to Eminem. i dont like Eminem, but i can understand why he likes him.
i didnt like Stealth, he did. i can see why he did--it was a mindless popcorn flick--tits ass and violence wrapped in a non-threatening PG13 package.
when you're like him (and more and more, i'm seeing there's alotta people like him), that's all you need.
he gave SIn City a 3 out of ten.
i gave it an 8 out of ten.
he gave Stealth a 7 out of ten.
i gave it an 5 out of ten--because i understand the need for films like that.
not everything can be Sin City, Fight Club, etc. i wouldnt want everything to be that, it would get real boring real fast.
he didnt understand the visuals.

I spend my Saturday walking around downtown portland drinking coffee and smoking and eating hummus wraps and people-watching and watching a movie. I don't think I said anything to anyone between 8AM and 4PM except "Large black" and "hummus" and "Broken Flowers". And probably "thank you". I always say "thank you" out of habit. Sometimes being completely alone among a lot of people is really fun. But it's also lonely.
