XXX: State of the Union sucks. i rented it cos i saw the first one--which sucked too. it was an over two hour action movie rated PG13 (no nudity, no real vulgarity, no visceral violence...).
so...the sequel? well, it's not over two hours! But it was hard to take Ice Cube serious as an action hero--he's a bit too...big. he was doing all these martial arts things, which looked unnatural for his...er...size.
and the acting was forced, most likely cos the dialogue wasnt tailored to his acting style....or whatever.
and i think it was shot on HDDV, so the cg was clear as day--train racing along the tracks at 240? you could see no blurring, every frame was sharp.
but the non-cg was blurry during the action scenes...
eeeh.

i love anything over sexual. with a name like xxx-state of the union, i would expect much more sex,but it sounds like that wasn't the point of the movie.
