What a week?!
My best friend got really sick and ended up on the ICU. She is going to be fine now. But i had a few moments where I realized that she could've died. We've been friends for 24 years. She is the sister I never had. So I wigged out for a while til I saw her and found out that she was stable.

My brother is special. That is all I can say. He is staying with someone else for a few days- which of course, I am relieved about. But he is a tool. My folks came in and rather than come with me to see our Mom, he went to Santa Barbara to visit his girlfriends' family (who he doesn't know). He pisses me off. That alone makes me want to set his clothes on fire.

I am in the beginning stages of figuring out where to start with preparing to move. I think I am going to hire people to move it all.

I talked to my college sweetheart yesterday for his birthday and he told me that he proposed to his girlfriend on the North Shore of Hawaii and of course, she accepted. I am over the moon happy for him. But I teared up for a minute. Our friends always thought he and I would end up together in the end. The bottom line is that he is happy so I am not gonna pull a "My Best Friend's Wedding" and try to steal him back. LOL
