These were all written at various points of the day and they are inspired by various people and situations I find myself in.

Floating by;
Teasing;
Pretending it will last forever.
But it is fleeting and always deceptive.
The hours pass like days,
When I am waiting for you.
Then the minutes that I get with you,
Race by as fractions of seconds,
Always over too soon.

I was in another's arms
And found myself thinking of you.
I could not help but wonder,
Does that happen to you too?

Sad song,
Don't make me cry.
You come on to remind me that my heart is empty and broken.
You come on to ensure that I will never heal.
You make sure that pain is all I ever really feel.
You break my heart all over again with each note.
Each word is like a kick when I'm down, just to make sure that I have no hope.
