I just made it home after an amazing weekend away. The drive was great. Aside from basking in the afterglow, I enjoyed driving in the rain and got to see numerous giant rainbows all along the 5.
I also listened to an audiobook- Nicholas Sparks' True Believer/ At First Sight Box Set. This trip was my first opportunity to enjoy an audiobook. It made the drive easy and I didn't get tired once.
In other news, I got a phone call about a job opportunity that would keep me here in CA. I'd be working with a friend and would be in Risk Management. I don't want to jinx it by saying more, but damn that throws a strange wrench into the tool box that has become my life.
We shall see how this unfolds...
