I went to church today for the first time in a long time. I went to a church by my house. It is completely different from any other church that I have ever been to.
For the first time ever, I didn't feel judged when I walked through the doors.
I never thought I would ever want to go regularly to church again because of the judgement I always felt, because of my art. But not at this place. People walked around freely and happily displaying their art. (For those of you who have not gotten it, I am talking about tattoos)
I am still more spiritual than religious at this point, but the truth is I believe in a higher power. Maybe, it is the God that this church is talking about.
Given everything that i am going through, I needed the message that I got today. It was a pretty surreal experience.
