I think I am losing my mind. Well, not really, but I keep misplacing things and feel like I am always forgetting something.

I am too young for a midlife crisis right?


Ah well. I am just hoping that I can push away some of the things that can make me sad and remember the fun and happy stuff.

That is not to say that I am at all despondent. It is just about to be that time of year again.

The damn holidays.

Although I am content with my singleness, the holidays always seem to make a single person feel more single. It's like there is something inherently present (pun intended) in the smell of the candles and baked goods and the sentiments played out in the movies that screams- THIS TIME OF YEAR IS FOR COUPLES, SINGLES, JUST SLEEP UNTIL NEW YEARS. I mean at least New Years is a celebration for everyone. A time to believe that the upcoming year will be better than its predecessor.

Here's looking to December 31st.

Impending holiday- induced 'depression' aside...

I am going to actually start sending out my resume this week. So wish me luck to find something bigger and better.

These next few weeks will include a business trip to Nor Cal and a road trio to AZ to watch my Bruins.
