Wow- so it has been a whirlwind of a few weeks. I have been going through a lot of emotions.
Mom is doing better. Her heart is strong and now she is being taken off of the sedatives and even gave my Dad some sugar (that is kisses for you non-Southerners
). I am so glad!! Now I just want to be there. It looks like I will be headed to TX in a week and a half.

Other than that I have just been feeling very alone. The single thing is not so bad until you just need a shoulder to cry on and someone to be there to hold you. It is really hard for me to be the one needing the shoulder in the first place, because that is not my forte. I am usually the one that my friends go to for advice and comfort.
The tables surely turned these past few weeks and I am grateful for the people who have been there for me.
