So Jess and I go to the airport last night to pick up our friend who flew down because we are having a girl's weekend.
As we are leaving the airport, waiting to pay the short term parking fee, this ASSHOLE runs into my best friend's car. Jess is pregnant and WAY hormonal. This guy was driving like an idiot.
He did not get out of the van he was driving to see if we were OK or if there was any damage. So Jess and our friend Bridgee got out of and started yellin at this guy. Of course there are two more lanes of traffic waiting to pay lookin at this scene. I was driving and told the airport security person that I was not going to move the car until we got the guy's info. At that point he was still on the bumper and we didn't know if the was any damage.
So the airport police show up. And I said 'I hope he's cute", which he was and Bridgee said "I hope he has a brother". More on that in a minute.
So we tell him what's happened and the guy in the van has disappeared into the back of it. It is one of those white work 'molester' vans where you cannot see into it.
So the officer starts yelling and has his hand on his gun and of course we start freakin out. The guy came back and it appeared that he was going to get his drivers license.
So the police officer comes back and starts talkin to us about school because of the license plate frame on the car.
He starts tellin us how he went to SDSU on a surfing scholarship and got kicked out for drinkin. Well, you know me and surfers. And Jess true to form asks for a way to contact him if there are any other issues. So he looking for a business card and a light goes off in my head --- I'll give him one of mine.
That is right ladies and gentlemen, I gave him my card. I freel like an 80s yuppie cliche. But he was friendly and cute and in a uniform, my brain was not working properly.
It made for a fun story to tell Jess's husband who was not very happy when we started tellin the story. He thinks we are silly.
But I say that's how we roll. Never a dull moment and when we can we get our flirt on- we do.
We drove home and had some ice cream.

Anyway. I needed a breath of fresh air. I have had a lot on my mind these past few weeks and sometimes I feel like I don't know which way is up and which way is down.
So this is my second weekend in a row of girl's time. I need it because my friends keep me sane.
They help to keep me from thinking the absolute worst about an ambiguous situation I am in.
I am waiting to hear from someone about what is going on in their life and the worst things are going through my head. I try not to think that way, but when left in the dark, I have nothing to do but speculate and that is scary.
I just want to know already, so I can help this person and move on in the best direction.

Many people care more about cars than about other people. A friend of mine was once hit by a car while on his motorbike. While he was putting out the fire on his legs before passing out the woman who had rammed him checked out the damage to her car

giggles:
I call those vans date rape vans
