Today, I completed my first Komen Race for the Cure 5K.
It was such an amazing event. There were so many different people together for one common reason.
I heard stories, saw survivors and memorials for victims of breast cancer. It was quite an eye-opening day. It was sad, joyous and beautiful.
Today was a reminder of just how strong people can be. And also it reminded me of the fragility of life.
I walked in memory of relatives and also in support of my best friend's mother and aunt who are both survivors.
This will be an annual event for me. There was also a nice turn-out of people from my company. And we are determined to have more people walk with us next year.
Hope you are all well out there.
XOXO
