So I am going to get an offer for the job that I interviewed for. I am just worried that they are not going to be able to pay me enough. I am going to have to negotiate I am sure. But they have to offer me enough to leave my company. I have been there for 7 years, have a ton of paid vacation and great benefits. And the clincher: a company car with all expenses paid.

I know.... why would I want to leave? I am not liking the direction the company is going in. And rather than wait until the next round of lay-offs (rumored to be coming Q4 AND Q1), I would rather leave on my own.

So I should get the offer by Noon tomorrow. And until then I am going to try to not freak out.

Cross your fingers that they want to pay me lots and lots of money!!

It is now Monday night and I am still negotiating. Hopefully tomorrow will bring more money offered.
