Just when I thought I was safe from the grossness of my roommate.....

Ok, so we are sitting, watching TV and she has taken the remote.

She has just walked in after working 8+ hours. She proceeds to take off her shoes and start picking at the skin between her toes and on the bottom of her feet. She drops the dead and dirty skin off to the side (and onto the floor) like it belonged there.


THEN she uses the remote. That made me want to

So I tell her, can you NOT touch your feet and then touch things that we both use cuz that is just FOUL? She responded in a manner that suggested that there was nothing wrong with her touching and picking at her nasty ass feet and then using things that are community property!!!!!

So FIVE MINUTES later (she still has not washed her hands) she begins to pick at her FACE. She does the same thing and drops the skin onto the floor. A little later she moves to her head and picks at the dandruff or whatever she's gotten goin on up there.

I left the room at that point. I seriously don't get how she could think that her behavior is acceptable in society. She picks at her face in restaurants and while out and about. To the point of bleeding.

(Had I really noticed that it was a habitual thing, I would not have agreed to share an apartment with her. I don't remember her doing this when we were roommates in college)

I seriously almost started to pick my nose and drop the boogers on the floor, just to see what she'd say. That or I was gonna take the vaccuum and sit there and use it every time she dropped a piece of skin and took the time to rub her fingertips together to make sure she got it all off (which was every time).

I cannot wait until the lease is up in September and I can get the hell away from her!

My apologies for neglecting y'all around here this week. It has been an awfully long week already and I want to fall over and sleep for a day. I will pay attention to you hopefully tonight or tomorrow evening.
