well the awesome new job for my wife turned to shit. she got a new job in like an hour, so we're ok. she doesn't start until the 20th, which left her with no money coming in for about 2.5 weeks. We have it covered. I do not like Lush cosmetics. I do not like them. Even though we have money, we've both been tense and uncomfortable during this time she's out of work.

We talked about it the other day. I said, "Everything just feels....off, y'know?" She nearly collapsed with recognition and relief that she wasn't the only one feeling the vibe. The tension has been evaporating since then. After the whole Lush debacle, the way her new job came together almost makes me think it was supposed to happen this way. ALMOST, just because I don't really believe in fate or The Gods or any divine force, but she had a job offer from her old boss within minutes of losing the Lush job. It's less money, but without the old commute it won't feel like less and we were happy when she worked for Philosophy. It feels good for her to go back where she's really wanted and where they believe in her. A minor setback in our life, but I think we'll move forward the better for it. (divine force or no, I'm crossing my fingers for luck)
