Through a langourous glance,
brought about
no doubt
by Viognier,

she asked me, per chance,
when I
saw my
departure day.

I stopped and looked askance
not drinking
but thinking
of what to say.

My mind began to dance,
the possibility
of tranquility
leading the way.

I replied:

"I came here to meet
Maddy sweet,
Zazie blue,
Trixel neat,
to spin here with DJ Aeon,
Lady, Cathedra
and Avalon.
But Blasfemme for me
made it real.
With body mods and
mad dork appeal.
Across all time zones
she made my day
even by telling me
to go away!"

My glow flattened into a trance
as the ends
of friends
before me lay.

Then I shed my petulance,
"I'll desist
what doesn't exist
at arm's length, okay?"

She smiled, "In no instance
would I
ever try
to force my say."

I think it's time to enhance
what's for me
the reality
of day-to-day.
