Crazy the battle between thoughts of the mind
and the feelings of the heart
one is open to everything
while the other criticizes from the start
one believes what it sees...
ones purpose is to achieve
balance in between, one can get outsmarted
while the other can get stolen
not matter how hard you try
both half's are capable of being left
bruised and swollen
no point in trying to outsmart cupid,
just play the game , and try not to get hurt
while you do it

Love is not a place to come and go as we please
funny how we CUM and go whenever we Please
with no regards for safety and the toll isn't free
we unbuckle our seatbelt in love so dangerously
and gas our way to our dooms inevitably...
live our lives with our hearts on our sleeves
broadcast our feelings on face book for all the world to see
and wonder why no one takes love seriously
because its faker than vh1 reality
forsaken our temples as well as our spirituality
in feeble attempts to achieve duality
its made our heart a container of fallacy
love is simply astounding
how it manages to keep our hearts pounding
to the rhythm and vibe of everyones souls
funny how a broken heart hurts the same in every color
its a pain that almost everyone knows
and although its pursuit often leads to anywhere but happiness
and little miracles happen along the way
because cupid is shooting arrows and our heart
cant seem to get out the way
love is a place we all need
we all love
and cant get enough of
