Fifty knot winds, torrential rains and wild seas have hit my hometown. Things are crazy out there on the roads so I seek comfort in the fact that I am warm and indoors, even though I am sitting at my desk, at work, like the rest of the lemmings.
I enjoy stormy weather. There is some weird energy, that really draws me in when I see I wild, raging sea. I think its just the complete rawness and chaos of it all, that I find so uplifting. Normally I would seek refuge,and hibernate,and enjoy the warmth.To my detriment Murphy really fisted me this time. Unfortunately, I'm moving out of my cosy little home, on the weekend. Someone is really smiling down on me, and having a good laugh.
Not only do I have to deal with the pain of moving, but doing it in cold, mega wet weather.I guess I can feel comfort in the thought, that its all worth it in the end. I hope.

yeah i love storms too, i especially love the anticipation and electric tension in the air when a really big one is building up but hasn't quite begun yet.
We haven't had a good storm here in ages. But it's coming into summer... should be getting those late summer afternoon storms in the next few months.
