Its always interesting the way things turn out ...
After getting back from my hell trip in Geelong, I had a meeting with my new manager. Upon getting some feedback from me about the new position, he said he had some negetive feedback regarding me from my new team. From the inconsistent and contradictory feedback, it was clear that there were serious personality issues coming through, and that his position was not a good fit for me. It was a crap way to end the week, but I decided that I was going to bite the bullet and leave the job.
Monday morning my manager and I had a meeting and we both decided that terminating things would work best for both parties concerned. He was very descent in giving me adequate compensation. I then approached the company from my second job offer, which I had turned down prior, to taking this job. Fortunately the postion was still availible and they hadn't found a suitable candidate.They were very happy when they heard I was availible and still interested. So after a long phone conversation, I start with them on Monday.Super stoked
So you guys can all hold thumbs for me again (lol)
Other news, was the Junto gig last night rocked. The boys kicked arse as always.Nice to catch up with MissCB again.I also got to meet PlatyPuz. Was great hooking up with him, and taking in some good music (and beer). Feeling a bit rough today, seeing as they plumbers came to do repairs, at early hours of the morning.
