The changing of the leaves never gets old. My streets are line with hues of green, bright yellows, oranges, and fascinating reds. This city is beautiful.
6 weeks until I leave for this crazy place called Australia! I'll be spending the first couple of days in Sydney for Homebake and then heading to Melbourne for a couple of months. Sometimes I'll be in the city, other times I'll be out on a 64 acre farm. Farms and farm animals aren't much my thing, but I'm sure that I'll enjoy the solitude. Nobody for miles and the closest town is quite small I've heard, as in a single grocer small. Ha ha. Excitement is taking over, as well as a bit of nervousness. I've hardly been to that many states, let alone out of the country! A three month vacation, going from one summer to the next. I won't miss winter at all this year.
