In other news:
There is crazy snow in Portland. I was stuck out at the boy's house from Friday until I got a ride to my house today. My car is still stuck out there though. I had purchased chains and we were getting around just fine, but then a night a drunken debauchery and doing doughnuts down Morrison broke one of the chains off.
So defeated. I'm supposed to spend Christmas Eve with the boy and then wake up and make breakfast with his roommate, but now I don't know how I'm going to get out there. Hopefully the stars will align and finally make this holiday season worth something because so far it's been nothing but negativity.
I'm on a search for a place to live closer to downtown. I don't like being so far away from the city. Plus I'm looking for a new job closer to the city as well. I'm barely working at my bar now, so I'm going to try and get a job at a place that gets more business. Bars downtown are always busy, so there would be a better flow of money.
The boy I've been dating has been great. We get along and even being stuck together with nowhere to go for 4 days didn't make us want to kill each other. It's amazing. I'm mostly just really stoked to have someone that makes me laugh constantly. That and he is perfectly affectionate.
GAH! I'm such a sucker.
I will be is Las Vegas February 11-14th! I've never been, so I'm beyond excited to be there with some of my favorite ladies including AlissaBrunelli, Rigel, Meow, Warning, Radeo, and so many more! I'm so ready to tear that town up! The city that never sleeps...let's do this!
