I had to call the ex to make sure she sent in the auto insurance payment. She sounded all happy and stress free. She even changed the message on her cell phone. It doesn't even sound like her.
What did I expect? I don't know, her to sound down and depressed. I had a bad day yesterday. I wasn't missing her, I just realized how different life is for me now. I had a home, and video games, and cable and battlestar Galactica and snakes and Lizards and I gave her everything when she wanted it done.
If she wanted out shouldn't I have made her leave? I dunno know. I just always figured it noble and chivalrous for the guy to exit on request of the woman. That is how it happens on tv anyway. Sort of a fucking basic instinct. Man and woman fight, man leaves, woman gets to cry, but she cries on her own furniture and in her own bed because she gets to KEEP IT ALL !
