Wow, so......i have no idea what is going on with my place of employment.
i have been out on medical leave for a little over a month, everything was approved, legit and whatev.....
all of the paperwork on my part has been completed and returned to the appropriate mailboxes. etc.etc.etc.
its been two weeks since i have been released by my doc to return to work yet i havent heard a damn thing from my employer.
im about to take the matter up with someone higher than my boss' boss.
i know i have a job (legally they CANT fire me since i have done everything by the book. their book!) its frustrating. i dont make shit there, but the insurance is KEY. this is the first corporation i have worked for and i did it grudgingly.....for this very reason.
i just cant sit around with no income waiting for something to happen. i do have people that would loan me money, but that just isnt my stlye. plus, the more time i have on my hands....the less intentions i have of getting off my ass! sad but true. ive been slacking with my two workouts per week bullshit and im wondering why my waistband is tight!!!!

i decided to fill out some apps for serving positions. (i swore i would never go back to serving, but im good at it. id just rather bartend or serve coffee because of the physical barrier between me and the guest. its some weird mental thing, but i feel i can be less of a character actor that way.)
anyway, i filled out one the other day in clintonville and by a stroke of good luck ran into the owner who took a liking to me and gave me an immediate position bartending in one of his short north restaurants. sweet dude.
it will be soooo nice to make bank again. ive been doing this $10 an hour thing for almost three years and its just killing me. i intend to keep both jobs part time.....but it jsut goes to show that AINT NO ONE GONNA LOOK AFTER NUMBER ONE BUT ME!!!!! (see, feeling sorry for myself/ letting THE MAN victimize me get me nowhere!

but you should probably call your other employer and find out whats up!
