am off to LA to see Better Luck Tomorrow. if you dont know what it is, it is the first film that is all asian american produced, directed, and acted to be picked up and distributed by a major american studio. pretty much asian actors play in roles that are commonly filled by white people, which is very different to the usual martial arts action hero/ nerdy scientist or student/ exotic oriental beauty that we are constantly sterotyped as in american cinema. the film already won awards at sundance, where it was picked up by MTV studios. am sooo excited. ciao!

Yeah, I saw a preview for that on the net. I was like "woah, that guy is playing the typical "stud" role and he's not white?" I got confused. I'm not racist, I was just confused. *grin*
