Trapped in a world where nothing is as it seems,
People wear masks to hide their true identities,
And I'm a porcelin doll, lips sealed and just for show,
Not to be taken seriously, how I feel no one knows.

Theres no breaking these strings holding me down,
Theres no escaping this life to which I'm bound,
Theres no leaving and it seperates us too,
I can't control it, theres nothing I can do.

Trapped in a world where truth isn't real,
We make promises and we break them still,
I'm Behind closed doors, I scream the truth and no one hears,
We dont realize it yet, but we are our greatest fears.

Theres no breaking these bars that hold me in
Theres no running, theres no way I can win,
Theres no hiding, and its for everyone to see,
They think they know everything about me.

So I take this knife, and cut these strings,
Escape this life, and set me free,
All i needed was the truth,
One day you'll see it too.
