i love thunderstorms...especially ones like last night where you keep the door open and the screen door shut so you can smell the rain...yeah, those ones. i think i've woken up early and gone to bed late almost every day this week...it felt so good to sleep in this morning! and it's only going to get worse what with finals and all that jazz:/ i'm taking advantage of as many quiet nights in as i can- last night it was just me, mi madre, a whole bunch of chinese takeout, and our neighbor's baby lab charlie...the three of us sat around watching amazing grace, eating fried wontons and listening to the storm. chhhhyeah.

i work all day today, but i head out to taneytown to see the girlfriend tonight, and then we meet up with em, jessi and anna to go (get this, are you ready?!) ON A SONIC ROAD TRIP! when i lived in north carolina, i had one up the street from me, and my cousin's from arkansas so she grew up with them too...but sadly the md has yet to catch on to the beauty of carhops and the best peach tea i've ever tasted! the closest sonic is an hour and fifteen minutes away:/

i've been thinking a lot about my next tattoo lately...go look up lyrics to "superhero" by ani difranco...i want a phone booth, glass pane in the door broken and scattered around it, and either the shadow of a naked girl or her whole body standing in the phone booth, phone off the hook, with her cape or something lying next to her. originally i wanted it on my leg, then maybe on my thigh, but now i'm thinking sidepiece:/ who knows. but i've been thinking about it for months now, and i really just need to save up and talk to my artist. bah to procrastination, man.
