Houghton, Michigan, wayyy up in the Copper Country, is the next stop on my list of "Places Katie spends her summers."

I think I pretty much have an internship with the Daily Mining Gazette up there if I want it. And I do.

I'm not sure in the Mining Gazzet is really a paper about Mining thought. Most of the papers in the UP seem to have started as moning papers at one time and then developed into real news papers(if you can consider the Mining Journal a real paper...some might disagree with that tongue
