Well, the first week of the paper is upon me and I'm already stressed out. I am writing three stories: localizing the tsunami, an alternative energy education center being built in Marquette and renovations the school is making to Lee Hall. Monday is going to be insane.
I have meetings at 10 a.m., noon, 12:30, 3:00, 4:30 and 6:00 p.m. I also have to call two sources at the Michigan Department of Energy, find this Sri Lankan student whose was not to be found today and I have to talk to a professor from Burma. But I usually don't have final exams, so "I don't do anything for my major."
My column is done for the most part, though. I did it on Salinas, Calif., closing its three-branch public library system.
I am going bowling tonight, I think. Tomorrow, unfortunately, I have some interviews to do, so I can't go to Appleton for shopping and sushi as planned. I suck as a friend
