I am sad. I am sad because of the way that Ohio looks. I am sad because of my mother's ignorance. I am sad because I do not want four new fucking neo-conservative justices for the next 25 years. I am sad because all the states so far have banned gay marriage.
What am I supposed to take away from this if Bush wins? I am not going to know what to think any more. If Kerry loses, democracy has failed us. If someone like Bush can get re-elected, there's something really wrong.
I've never prayed so hard for some sense to come out of Ohio. But it won't happen. Bush will get it. Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Michigan are still up in the air, but I have no faith anymore.
I would like to say that I am proud of Pennsylvania, though. Philadelphia went 80% Kerry. Damn, people. Damn.
