I had a really good day at work today. I planned 6 stories and assigned 4 of them. Jason and Fabiana still need to get back to me on the other two stories, but I think those are pretty much taken care of. I need to come up with two more story ideas and assign them to two new girls waiting in the wings. I also need to take care of photos. All in all it's going pretty smoothly so far.

Hey, sorry I didn't get back to you earlier. I've been running around like an idiot.

I'm the EIC of The Temple News at Temple University in Philadelphia. This is my first semester as EIC, however I was Managing Editor, Copy Chief and a Copy Editor before that.

It's been really fun getting things together. Planning and directing a newsroom is loads of fun. ARRR!!!

Yeah it's nice, but it also sometimes makes me feel bad, when we hear a song of theirs on a commercial or something. But then we don't feel bad a second later, when we think about what a crappy song it actually is. It's nice to feel like he picked me though. And his band is really taking off and eventually they will achieve that indie-non-success that every kid in black frame glasses dreams about.
