Had a crap day at work today. My co-worker Jessica told me I look like I have downs syndrome. Before someone jumps down my throat for discriminating against people with downs synrome, that isn't a knock against diagnosed people. I simply don't have the fucking disease and I don't look like I do.
My mom sent me a package today. Kitchen towels, new undies, a new bathing suit and a new t-shirt. My mom is a wonderful person. She knows how to cheer me up - send me stuff!
Watching law and order and chillin' with my cat will help. I am going for a bike ride and blueberry picking tomorrow. Maybe to Esky to meet my mom.
Update: I've decided I've reached the point where I miss human contact so much that I don't know how to act around people anymore. So I just don't talk to anyone. Good plan, Katie, good plan. On a completely unrelated note, soundtracks depress me more than any other kind of music. Particularly, "Bookstore" by Jon Brion from the Eternal Sunshine soundtrack and all of the Requiem for a Dream sountrack. Not a good thing to be listening to when you're reminiscing about the past. Hope all is well with everyone and you've found happy music that doesn't come from soundtracks - unless it's Britney's movie, "Crossroads."
