Today, I truely have been a wee bit naughty.
My boss left for the Royals game and Ella and I decided to go out for lunch. Since I work right off the Plaza, it seemed like a brilliant idea to make a stop over there for a burger at Tom Fooleries... Mmmm.. Peanut Butter Bacon Burger.. *drools* waffle fries.... So good. Okay.. *puts away her inner foodie*
Well... needless to say, I had a tasty libation with my burger. There's nothing better then a burger and beer. Alas, a co-worker, forgot his keys to the office and called us up in the middle of our adventure. We were caught red-handed with our alcoholic endeavor. He stopped by and grabbed the keys.. teased us for drinking and came back to the office. We finished up our oh so tasty lunch and came back.
I'm greeted at the door by an officer asking to see me. Fortunately, I am the one who pays him, so I got away with some light ribbing and heavy flirting. Handing over the paychecks didn't hurt I suppose. Why do I keep ending up the product of officers affections? This is a boogle. He did offer to come out with us next time and demonstrated how he would tuck his badge into his shirt when he was ordering his beer.
Fun times.. Is it 5pm yet? I have tomorrow off and Conquest to look forward to. *bounces around like a monkey on crack* I am way to hyper to be stuck at a desk! Can I get a Ginger Rescue please?
