I was married and I look down upon the institution now, since my ex-husband failed me... I try not to be negative and just congratulate people when they say they're engaged or newly married, but I can't help but groan... either way, I shall say (A) CONGRATULATIONS, because I know how exciting it is being engaged and planning a wedding! and (B) work hard at it and keep romance alive... without, it all falls down.
