Thursday night a drunk driver crashed through the wall into my roommate Franki's parents' living room while her dad was sitting on the couch watching t.v. The police said the car must have been doing about 80 down their street, which is a 20mph zone by the way. Here are some pictures and the news video:

We're letting Franki's parents store most of their stuff and one of their children in my house until everything gets taken care of. Hopefully they can repair the house. The only thing holding the upper level in place was the mustang, but they put some braces up to keep it from collapsing when they pulled the car out. I went over there today to help them get most of their stuff out. Luckily no one was seriously injured. Franki's dad has a lump on his head where the window frame hit him, and his brain is apparently bruised, but that is all.
