Oh for petes sake...
They say bad things come in three's. so we got my girlfriend dumping me a few weeks back (1), my car breaking down last week(2) and now, just to top things off, I've hurt my back at work!(3)
Fell of a ladder at work yesterday. And just cause I have to top the last person who injured himself at work, as I fall, my back lands squarely on a step-stool that was behind where my ladder had been placed. My back bent in half, and I ended up in the hospital.
It took them three freaking hours to see me, then 45 minutes to have x-rays done, then another 45 mintues to get results and the report from the doctor, and, yep, another 25 minutes to get the demerol and Gravol injections, in my ass no less, and send me home a bloody cripple.
I'm not usually this unlucky, or this bitter. I think it's Christmas.
