I was hanging out at tower record yesterday cause i was so bored. I found a special edition of Franz Ferdinand's first CD. Even i own the normal CD, i decided to buy the special edition. However i was out of cash and after i got some from ATM, the CD was gone....later i check the net and found out the different is that there is a extra disc and a Franz Ferdinand Lyrics booklet

I have been listen to franz ferdinand for a while. Even they are not as hard as futurehead, they can still get my feet move. The second CD "You Could Have It So Much Better" was quite a disappointment. LIke most band, the sophomore is almost the same as the first one.

It's called the sophmore jinx. Especially for bands signed to majors. They tend to have 6 years to write the first album before they get signed, and 6 months for the second one, after being on a heavy lable sponsored tour. Needless to say, 2nd' Major Label albums tend to be weaker*

*Certain exceptions exist.
