If they can start Christmas in all the stores before Thanksgiving is over, I can damn well decorate for Halloween before October. I mean it. Bryan has urged me to at least wait 'till the end of August. I guess I can deal with that. I want something fun to do on Halloween this year, and I haven't started early enough to have a really good party.

Walgreens has messed up my medication for the second time in two months now. The first time, they substituted Bupropion SR 150 for the Bupropion SR 100 I was supposed to have. I noticed the pills looked different, checked the side of the bottle, and found that the description didn't match the tablets. I called the drugstore, and they asked, have you taken any? I said yes, because even when I noticed the mistake, I still had to have the medication, and they said oh, that shouldn't hurt you. I thought that, too, but I was a bit offended by their nonchalance about the mistake. This month, I got Bupropion SR 200 instead. It says 200 on the bottle, and it all matches up, but I thought my prescription had been for 100. They had to call the doctor to be able to fill it in generic form, so maybe the person there told them 200 instead. I'm not going to worry about it. 200mg shouldn't hurt me, and it might do some good. I tried to split one of the pills, which you shouldn't really do with an SR med, and took a half yesterday, but my tongue went completely numb when it touched the tablet. I decided that I was not comfortable with that effect, and I haven't split another one. If I notice anything odd, then I'll look into it, but Walgreens was just casual enough, and my doctor just ditzy enough to have done this change. Yes, my doctor is a spaz on occasion. Several occasions that I've seen, personally. If my doctor is reading this, yes, sorry, but you seem to have a certain spaz-ness about you.

I luuuuuv my mp3 player. It's a neat little 256meg from Wal-Mart, branded "Ilio", which I believe is the Wal-Mart electronics store brand. It was $70, and for the money, it's been a great little device, running 16 hours on a single AAA battery, and having a neat drag-and-drop interface. It will hold most other files, too, in a pinch. I can do the dishes, take care of the garden, and go to the store with my own little soundtrack. Wow. What's in it? Some Gary Numan, NIN, Sisters of Mercy, Blue Oyster Cult, Abney Park, a couple of Doctor Who theme remixes, Billy Idol, The Cure, Crawlspace, and a bunch of other things that I can't remember at the moment. I have a few Thundercats audio out-takes, too, but for some reason, the last few seconds of each one is gone. I would have the things that I've downloaded and paid for from Musicmatch, but they won't work in my player, because of the Musicmatch song authentication rigamarole that has to happen every time the file is transferred. Since MM doesn't support my player, as far as I can tell, I can't have my music. And that, I can tell you, pisses me off. I've got Dolly Parton, Vast, Dwight Yokam, The Rolling Stones, and Snake River Conspiracy out in limbo, and I PAID for it!

I had some strange dream last night about a house with a really big, long ladder that I had to climb to get into it, and about taking a bath with a skeleton in the room. I thought I really shouldn't have it in there with me, so I decided that I would prop it on the outside of the door, and leave it there. I had a thought that it was a stupid thing to do, because it meant that when I opened the door to leave the bathroom, the skeleton would fall right at me, and I'd be scared silly. Someone took it away when I was bathing, though.
