Well, the new apartment is full of all sorts of interesting surprises. Mostly, the next door neighbor who moved into Phil and Ben's old place is pretty awesome. So that's cool. Unpacking has been a slow process, and I just figured out where my trash goes today. Plus, my pilot light is out again and I need to call my landlady and find out what to do about it. But overall, I'm still pretty happy with the place, I'm looking forward to getting a kitten, and having more good times with my neighbor.

Shit yo, I almost forgot to mention the Sufjan Stevens concert! I went with some friends Saturday night to see the show at the Echo Lounge and it was really great. I had a blast. For those who aren't familiar with Sufjan, think emo, only more folksy and instead of whiny, uplifting. It's very personal music about things in life, mostly bad, but instead of being sad, depressing music, it makes you feel okay about things. Also, listening to his Michigan album makes me want to buy a cabin in the mountains and listen to it while watching the sun rise every morning. Great stuff.
