Back from another day of painting. I'm probably going to go back a little later and do more, but I had Taco Bell for lunch, and I'm not totally comfortable with the toilet there yet
Mostly, I'm feeling really satisfied right now. Myke helped out today, and apart from some touch-up stuff, we got the whole living room and the whole bedroom completely done. The bathroom is about halfway there, and the kitchen is actually going to need to be cleaned before it can be painted. But we got a lot done, and we had fun doing it. This place is going to be home for me. After putting so much effort in to it, I'm starting to love it. The bright yellow in the living room actually makes the wooden ceiling that I hated look really cool, and even the maroon-ish beadboard is looking liveable next to it. I'll probably leave it, provided it doesn't clash too much with the couch. I think once I get it bug-bombed and painted, I'll have a home. I'm very happy right now
(Plus, a friend of mine who used to live in the back apartment of that hosue showed me how to steal cable!)
