Last night we invaded Necto in Ann Arbor, and for the most part we were surprisingly calm. Sometimes, the world is not a snow globe. Sometimes, everything is not simple. Sometimes, even a gentle shaking will not make things pretty. Sometimes, being thrown against the wall would not be enough to cause you to explode. Sometimes, things are alot more fucked up than they seem.

And sometimes, no matter how much it should bother you, it just doesnt.

it's been a couple hours since i posted an awesome entry, that posted a year ago, would have produced comments by now. people used to care . people in sgdetroit used to care more. i feel there's a lack of effort and genuine concern in creating unity, i.e. commenting in people's journals to let them know they're thought about and considered. it makes me sad. i'm not over it.

Today started with me vomiting blood. It hurt too much for me to really appreciate the intensity of it, but it did make me think about the Exploding Zombies song "Vomiting Blood." I decided that the best way to follow this activity was sleep. When I woke again I felt much better.

Its curiously fascinating how my life is filled with the most wonderful and terrible moments all at once. I woke up today feeling joyous, intoxicated and content. The day started out with a calm that was far too peaceful to go without interruption. It took only a short time, and now the smallest things are consuming me with disdain and bitterness.
