I have spent the better part of yesterday and today listening to Nile's "In their Darkest Shrines" and have come to the conclusion that this is one of my ten favorite albums ever.
I spent the better part of an hour today reworking a story of mine that I love, and I am coming to love it more. It still has a long way to go, but I am really happy with my progress.
I still have yet to get my Acid Bath hoodie, and I am very sad about this. Hopefully it doesnt require a signature, because I wont be here during the day for the next four days.
I go this coming sunday to get my next tattoo, and I am very excited. I am getting the couplet
"That is not dead which may eternal lie
And with strange aeons even death may die"
on my collarbone. Continuation of the Lovecraft theme. After that I have to wait until mid october to see if I will have the money, but I have 4 more to put on my two lower arms. I have two norse runes and two obscure cult symbols centered around the Knights Templars. After that, I will still need two more symbols to complete the project, and those are still undecided. That will pretty much fill from the elbows down, but I do have one other idea for something in that area that will remain with me for now.
I return to work today after a 4 day weekend. I am full of anticipation, because I know I have alot to do and only a little time to do it. I forced myself to stay out of there while I was off so I didnt freak out on my employees about what they havent done. I am frightened to find out, but prepared to make everything fall back into place.
I also put in all the time requests for upcoming shows. The first one I am planning on is local bands at the Machine Shop in mid October. I have 5 shows total, but there are three more I will try to catch if convenient. I really want to go down for the blackest of the black tour at harpos, with danzig and mortiis and chaimaira and behemoth, but I dont know if I will be able to get that night off. If so that would be the first show, since its on the 11th.
Why are you still reading this? Its like a grocery list more than a journal entry.
Off to eat, kill something small, then wander off into the madness of this world...
