Friday night I went and saw Mushroomhead at Harpos in Detroit. Much love for the venue and the band, it was a hell of a show. The audience was younger than I like, but all in all it wasnt a problem. I moshed quite a bit, which I needed, and as a result I am fairly sore and there is a bruise behind my right ear, and possibly the left one too.
After Mushroomhead we went to City Club, which turned out to be great. A friend of mine was celebrating her birthday and had a small entourage, and a few people whom I told I would be out came to see me. I met a couple people for the third time, and actually remembered a girl who last time I met her insisted we met six times prior. I guess I am really bad about that stuff.
Departed from City somewhat early because it had been a long day. Still didnt get home til late, then tried my best to sleep in vain.
Saturday evening my daughter and I hung out and watched movies, then when she passed out I put together an easter basket and went to sleep. When she found it in the morning she was thrilled, because it was full of the perfect mix of dark and cute things to accomodate her strange taste.
Easter has been a rough day, mostly spent with my cousin and her daughter so the girls could play, and we hung out with her mother in law and the mil's redneck bf, it was pretty entertaining though thoroughly exhausting. The last two hours I have been packing up my daughter's stuff, preparing her to fly out tomorrow afternoon. She is flying back with more things than I own. Its quite funny.
Well, I guess its off to bed for me, I will talk to some of you degenerates soon.
