I am just coming in from a long night out, and one that I did not expect at that. My best friend was in from Toronto, and I devoted the whole day to him. Unfortunately, he had a family function to attend in the evening so I found myself with little to do. I had to go get my phone swapped anyway, courtesy of the always wonderful but internetless Kira, so I decided now was a great time. It somehow escalated to me waiting for tongue_boy to show up, and us going to the bar to hang out. It was a mellow night, which is exactly what I needed. I had a good bit to drink, but I managed to stay reasonably quiet. I had some bad food at a bad restaraunt, and now I sit here needing desperately to go to sleep.

I have to be up in a few hours, because the most amazing and extravagant lolizzo is taking my corporeal being to the RenFest tomorrow. Its wonders of the world theme, which reminds me for some deranged reason of a book by Robert Bloch called American Gothic, set in the Worlds Fair in Chicago at the turn of the century, and people being killed for medical experiments. Its been a long time since I read it, so now I must find it and read it again.
