In four years of living in this apartment, my rent has never been late. Call it compulsion, attention, responsibility, whatever, I am very orderly when it comes to these things because if I do not keep everything in order, I get overwhelmingly stressed and I freak out.

Today, I suddenly realized I never dropped off the rent check that I filled out almost two weeks ago.

In typical Agent style, I marched into the office fully expecting to pay a late fee, as it had to be in by the end of saturday. Be it the boldness, the bluntness, or my history, they waved the fee without me asking them to.

That said, I can still go out tonight without worrying about money. So in celebration of the aging wine called Nalar, I am determined to get my christ on, and I am certain I will do so by confronting the bottom of some glasses filled with liquid oblivion.

Succumb to Temptation, and if you kill anyone, spill their blood in my name.

I am sitting here listening to the Beastie Boys song Paul Revere, and I just cancelled my account. Since it just renewed, I have three months, and I will be with you until May 1st, but then I will no longer be here. I will update about it before I leave, so I can stay in touch with those of you who wish to.

I have OCD when it comes to the rent check. I double check to make sure I turned the check in.

Of the three times I have been hit with late fees on my rent checks, once was my doing. The other two times the twits in the home office "lost" the check. By the time I have cut a new one, they have "found" the previous check, yet I still have to pay the late fee.

Explain that to me. confused
